Week 3 (SCI 1102)

 We’ll complete the lecture, Human Impact, and begin the lecture, Microbiology, if time permits. We’ll view the film, Modern Meat. Be sure to bring your video guide to class. Master the study guide and glossary for Human Impact (Study Guide Unit 1 Part 1). Background readings are posted on Scribd.com.

Week 2 (SCI 1102)

 We'll continue with the lecture, Human Impact on the Environment. Work on the Unit 1 Study Guide and bring the video study guides to class (for unit 1). Begin preparing for test 1.

 Go to www.scribd.com/owls_1102. From the Collections ,Introduction and Unit 1, download the following files: (1) SCI Schedule Fall 2010; (2) Human Impact on the Biosphere; (3) Who Killed the Electric Car; (4) Unit 1 Study Guide Part 1; and (5) the Glossary Human Impact.
